Technique Circular knitting, Level: Medium, Stitches: Knit (knit and purl optional), Gauge: 8 stitches & 12 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stocking stitch, Yarn weight: DK-weight (2 strands held double)

These soft mohair beanies are a pleasure to wear and lightweight. These pieces are made of MYPZ Chunky Kidmohair DK, a high quality fine brushed mohair that does not pill. You can knit 2 beanies: 1 adult beanie in size S/M or L/XL and 1 kid beanie.

Yarn and colors (based on the 2 beanies in the picture):
• 2 balls MYPZ Chunky Kidmohair DK Dark Purple
• 1 ball MYPZ Chunky Kidmohair DK Neon Yellow
• 1 ball MYPZ Chunky Kidmohair DK Bright Purple
(You keep a lot yarn left over)

How much meter /yards do you need in total to knit both pieces?
Based on knitting with 2 strands held double!
• ± 20 meter (21y) smiley color of a DK-weight yarn (for all sizes)
• ± 220 meter (240y) base color of a DK-weight garen (for all sizes)

Difficulty: medium

Technique: knitted circular from bottom to top, intarsia for the color change for the smileys (you can optional knit straight, than you have to seam a small part of the beanie at the end)

Size beanie adult:
S/M ± 52 - 54 cm circumference
L/XL: ± 54 - 56 cm circumference

Size beanie kid: ± 45 - 48 cm circumference

The stitch is very stretchy. This means that you can stretch both at least 5 cm further in width.
